Fishes + Loaves
Fishes & Loaves Guest House is a beautiful Springfield retreat where every rental stay supports and expands the mission of Refuge Ranch.

The story began in 2025, when Glennon and Jan Paul made an extraordinary gift to Refuge Ranch in memory of their daughter, Ginger Paul, a longtime special needs teacher in District 186. Their gift included more than seven acres of historic Fairview Farm, along with the neighboring home that is now Fishes & Loaves.
Plans are underway to determine the next steps for bringing Refuge Ranch programs into Springfield, with the goal of making Christ-centered equine-assisted mentoring, adaptive riding and other services more accessible to children and families in the community.
In the meantime, Fishes & Loaves is already helping move that mission forward. The home is available for short-term stays, giving guests a comfortable place to gather while creating meaningful support for Refuge Ranch.
Every stay at Fishes & Loaves benefits Refuge Ranch and helps strengthen and expand the free services provided to children and families. What began as an incredible gift continues to grow in impact, supporting today’s mission while helping prepare for what God may make possible in Springfield next.
