Meet Levi!
Before. . .
After . . .
This sweet soul has earned a very special place in our hearts
here at Refuge.
Levi is a 14 year old quarter horse gelding who had been
loaned to some people as a pasture buddy for another horse.
While he was there, his owner suffered some medical problems
and was unable to check on him for a time.
When she was finally able to make it out to see him, she was
horrified at the condition she found him in. Dismayed, she
brought him home immediately and began the process of
nursing him back - however her health still made caring for
him a challenge.
We were lucky enough to be given the opportunity to bring
him home. Levi is truly one of the kindest horses I have ever
met. He adores people and will often choose their company
over that of the other horses. He is incredibly anxious to
please, and is about as gentle as they come!
Our God is a God of Refuge even for our horses!
