Meet Jackson!
the first horse to take up residence at Refuge Ranch.
This patient and kind horse is a wonderful confidence builder
and he has taught me countless lessons about the relationship
between human and horse.
He has gladly packed around toddlers for their first ride,
patiently endures the mistakes of those just learning what
horsemanship is about, and in general is the perfect horse for a
program like Refuge. We are so grateful to have him here!
