Canyon and his sister Liberty were seized by Douglas County
Animal Control. They were being kept in a dry lot and fed
grass clippings. By the time they seized them, the filly was so
weak she had to be transported in a sling. Both were covered
in rain rot and nothing more than skin and bones.

Canyon is a 7 year old Grade, 14hh, bay gelding with one
white sock. He is sweet, just a little stubborn, but loves to interact.
Canyon has settled in nicely at the ranch, gained weight, gets along
with the other horses, and loves people. He has great ground manners, stands well for the farrier,
lunges, ties and loads, He is up to date on Coggins, teeth, and vaccinations. Currently, Canyon is being
started under saddle.
